ENGAGE2020

Today, I attended a conference called ENGAGE2020 which was developed by Dr. Rice Broocks. It's goal is to equip and empower  local Churches for growth through  evangelism. Dr. Rice introduced "The God Test" a tool on how to start a conversation with a person, whether a believer or not, and it all starts with a question, Do you believe in God? With this simple question, you will be able to open the heart of a person that will help every disciples to share the gospel. There is also a simple strategy on how to use the tool which called The S.A.L.T.Method. This is what SALT means,

                                        S - Start a conversation

                                        A - Ask questions

                                        L- Listen

                                        T - Tell the story

It's so simple yet powerful that stirred up the heart of our church leaders to go out of their comfort zone to start a conversation with someone, to ask questions, to listen and tell the story of the Gospel. 

ENGAGE2020 aims to raise up a new generation of Church-based Evangelists to help the church become missional. In this conference, Dr. Rice helped the church leaders identify the people who has the gift of evangelism so that they can be equip and empower to do the work of an evangelists.

With this new tool, I believe that every believer will find it easy to share the gospel and will bring forth multitudes of people closer to God. Though we have this tool, Dr. Rice reminded us tool to always, ALWAYS KEEP IN STEP WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT because without His guidance we won't be able to minister at all and God can always use any method to save a person.
