The reason I am writing this it to help everyone achieve the dream of becoming "Great" because I am sure all of us, whether we admit it or not, has a desire in our heart to be known for our great deeds or accomplishments. And no matter how hard we try we can't seem to reach that level. There are a lot of books that promise to help us become successful in a particular field but a few books published that will help us make it big in whatever career path we want to take. It may be effective for some but the key to greatness that I am talking about is different. Don't be shock! The key that i'm going to share would be different from most of the published books or from the advised your heard from a well-known speaker.
If you want to be great you must depend on God alone not on your own knowledge or plans. YES! Depend on God. Confess with your mouth that you can't do anything without Him. Ask Him to help you and enable you to do great things for His glory. You may say that you have succeeded even without acknowledging God's power so why would you say that you can't do anything without Him? Well, It is true that you may feel successful and great after accomplishing what you wanted but how long will it last? After sometime, you realized that it is not enough and your desire to become great had increased; It had become a cycle that you can't help yourself but to fulfill the desire in your heart; wanting more. It is like chasing for a dream that will never be yours. What will you do? Repeat the same cycle until you die? Or accept the truth that apart from God you will never be great? In His love for us, Jesus Christ himself said this truth.
“With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." - Matthew 19:26
"Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." - Matthew 18:3-4
Humble yourselves before God and let His power work on you. Feel fulfillment in your heart by giving glory to His name. Depend on God like a child would: unto his/her parents for love, provision, protection and guidance. The key to Greatness is faith on what Jesus Christ did for you on the cross. Accept Him as the Lord and Savior of your life. Ask Him to direct your path and you will be successful. Trust God that He can do amazing things through you.
