Which have you chosen?
We can only live by the values of one in two kingdoms,
that is the kingdom of darkness or the Kingdom of Light.
Each time you choose to live with your own desires, each time you
commit a sin and let satan tempt you, you are
letting the kingdom of darkness come to our world through you.
But each time you choose God's way in your life the Kingdom of God comes into the world through you.
When you live out in His values, the prayer Jesus taught us (Matthew 6:9-13) is answered,
'Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven'.
So how do the citizens of God's nation act?
how can we live as the ONE WHO GIVES LIGHT to everyone??
It is summarized in Matthew 5:3-12.
1. They are not big headed
2. They live by God's priorities
3. They're hungry and thirsty for more of God
4. They show compassion to others
5. They have a pure heart
6. They are peacemakers
7. They stay positive even in hard times
8. They know their reward is waiting for them
What the world knows about GOD is what is displayed in our lives!
Quite a big responsibility for us, right?
So let us stand strong and let them see His glory in our lives.
We can win them better through our actions.
" His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of Him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires."
-2 Peter 1:3-4
